   Leuk grapje mijnheer skyspam,kan ik om lachen.Maar om de boot niet te missen zou ik maar snel instappen in gnbt.Zie net dat ze nabeurs op weer een vogelgriep berichtje flink hoger gehandeld hebben,we go up! Komt goed uit want ik heb er nog wat bijgekocht vorige week op 1,45 weet je nog!Ik voorspel a big rally in dit aandeel in dit najaar.

   Het produkt ligt in de schappen,ik ben me vrijwel zeker als het aanslaat de koers grote hoogtes zal gaan beklimmen,kan niet missen lijkt me.

    OP het Yahoo forum zijn de speculaties niet v/d lucht.$10 rond kerst lijkt mij wat overdreven,maar daar gaan een aantal optimisten voor.Het zou de eerste van de drie eerder genoemde(Insm.GTCB,GNBT) zijn die het waar maakt.Ik geloof er nog niet in,maar hoop stiekem natuurlijk wel op zo'n kerstcadeautje.

    Ik weet niet of het al bij een ieder bekend is maar de verkoopprijs (direct bij GNBT) is $6,99.
    Geen idee wat de winstmarge en de te verwachten verkoopcijfers/hoeveelheden zijn,maar daar hebben andere hier op het forum misschien meer kijk op.

    Nog even geduld,het gaat gebeuren,2,5 dollar zal echt niet lang meer duren met eventueel ook nog het vogelgriepnajaar als drijvende factor en koersopdrijver.Als het spray redelijk loopt zullen ze dat door middel van positieve pb. snel laten weten en kan ie vet omhoog!

    China prepares vaccines for possible flu outbreaks

    BEIJING -- Chinese health officials are preparing 23 million to 25 million doses of flu vaccine, after experts warned the H5N1 bird flu could break out again with other flu strains during winter and spring.
    
    The vaccines would be available from mid September, when an inoculation campaign began, said a statement by the China Preventive Medicine Association. The quantity of doses is 20 percent more than last year.
    
    Six million to seven million doses will contain no preservative, about eight times as many as last year, according to Sanofi Pasteur, the major provider of flu vaccines to China.
    
    The preservative in the other vaccines was a mercuric compound used to prevent contamination in production and transportation. It has proved harmless so far, but some U.S. organizations have recommended minimal use of the preservative in production.
    
    About three million doses of flu vaccine will be provided for babies below three years old this year, nearly 30 percent more than last year, according to the company.
    
    The H5N1 outbreaks since 2003 around the globe all happened in winter and spring, so it was highly possible another outbreak might occur if the trend continued. It coincided with the high prevalence season for human flu, said an expert quoting epidemiological research results released by the World Health Organization (WHO) in June.
    
    It was difficult to predict future mutation of the bird flu virus, but one possibility was that the virus mixed with human flu viruses, creating a new type which could trigger a human pandemic, said Zeng Guang, an expert with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
    
    Zeng said no major flu outbreaks had occurred in China in the past few years, but localised outbreaks happened constantly, including some in schools, in the first quarter of this year.
    
    Figures from the Ministry of Health showed a 13 percent rise in the flu incidence rate in the first quarter compared with the same period of last year.
    
    As human flu outbreaks always occurred suddenly and were hard to predict, it was crucial to take preventive measures, especially when the H5N1 strain was still occurring, he said.
    
    China has reported 21 human infections of bird flu since 2003, including 14 deaths.
    
    The country's bird flu vaccine for human use had been proved safe and effective in preliminary clinical tests, announced the government in August.
    
    Experts fear the H5N1 bird flu virus could mutate into a form able to spread among people, causing a global pandemic. It had infected 247 people and killed 144 throughout the world by September 19, according to WHO figures

    Novel vaccine technology boosting T helper cell response to Asian bird flu influenza promises increased population protection
    
    TORONTO, Canada – October 19, 2005 – Generex Biotechnology Corporation (NasdaqSC: GNBT) announced today that Antigen Express, Inc., its wholly owned immunotherapeutics subsidiary, has re-organized its forces to speed development of a novel vaccine to protect against the H5N1 avian influenza. In particular, the President of Antigen Express, Eric von Hofe, will focus his efforts and those of the company on bringing this new vaccine into the clinic in the shortest time possible. A similar vaccine peptide, designed using a portion of a protein expressed in breast cancer cells modified with Ii-Key, is currently in clinical trials at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
    
    “The threat of a pandemic by avian influenza has made it clear that yesterday’s vaccine technologies are woefully insufficient,” said Eric von Hofe, President of Antigen Express. “The vaccines being developed at Antigen Express have a clear role to play in responding to threats posed by agents such as H5N1 influenza.”
    
    A major drawback to current vaccine development efforts is the inability to manufacture enough vaccine in the event of an avian flu pandemic. Current estimates are that the total production capacity of the world for producing an avian flu vaccine using traditional methods is less than 40 million doses, at the cost of several 100 million dollars. A compounding problem in developing vaccines for the avian flu is that two doses are required to achieve protective immunity given that people have never been exposed to a flu virus similar enough to impart even partial immunological protection. Further, they can be produced in nearly limitless quantities using entirely synthetic means in existing facilities.
    
    The great advantage of the Antigen Express vaccine is the ability to expand and strengthen the T helper cell response to a lower dose of classically produced vaccine. The Ii-Key/H5 hybrids can be synthesized less expensively and in large quantities. It is also expected that the vaccine hybrids will afford some significant degree of protection in humans who have received no other vaccine.
    
    Scientists at Antigen Express are developing a vaccine for the potentially pandemic Asian bird flu (H5N1 strain), utilizing highly conserved fragments of the H5 protein to stimulate potent T-helper cell activity. This is important, as a strong T-helper response plays a major role in helping the body to develop neutralizing antibodies to the influenza virus. The H5 fragments are modified using a portion of an immunoregulatory protein (termed Ii-Key) that greatly facilitates their ability to stimulate T-helper cell responses specific to the H5N1 strain. The vaccine peptides have been selected for their likelihood of being both potent and active in more than 80% of the population.
    
    Antigen Express scientists designed and synthesized a panel of 24 Ii-Key/H5 hybrid vaccine peptides, using computer-modeling predictions to identify those with the greatest chance of being active in diverse populations. Recently completed studies demonstrated that T helper cells from mice immunized with recombinant H5 protein or H5 DNA responded strongly in INFã and IL-4 ELISPOT assays to three Ii-Key/H5 hybrids, indicating that the natural response to H5 protein involved T helper cell recognition to three of the H5 peptides we had designed. Subsequent experiments demonstrated that immunization of mice with the three Ii-Key/H5 hybrids alone also lead to strong T cell responses.

    Had jij niet een aantal maanden geleden een extra hypotheek genomen om GNBT te kunnen bij kopen. Sindsdien heb je nog verscheidene malen bijgekocht. Heb je inmiddels je auto, inboedel en vrouw ook verkocht?

    Het voordeel van een daling is dat je er bij kunt kopen op een lagere koers,dat heb ik inderdaad regelmatig gedaan de laatste maanden tussen de 1,30 en 1,60.Waarschijnlijk zal later blijken dat dat zo slecht nog niet was!Ben nu als een speer naar duitsland om te kijken of ik nog in andere dingen ga investeren,kom hier vanavond wel weer eens kijken.
