    En handhaaft koopadvies.

    (ABM FN-Dow Jones) UBS heeft maandag het koersdoel voor Adyen verhoogd van 1.800 naar 2.050 euro met een herhaling van het koopadvies. Dit bleek uit een analistenrapport van de Zwitserse bank naar aanleiding van de jaarcijfers van de Amsterdamse betaalspecialist.

    Er viel over de resultaten van Adyen weinig te klagen, aldus UBS. En een omzetgroei van circa 25 procent is dit jaar haalbaar, denkt de bank, na een groei van 23 procent in 2024.

    Het aandeel Adyen won maandag 0,7 procent op 1.852,80 euro.

    Consumer sentiment sours further in late February

    The second of two readings of consumer sentiment in February slipped to 64.7 from 67.8 earlier in the month. Sentiment has fallen nearly 10% from January. It’s the lowest since November 2023.

    Long-run inflation expectations moved higher, the University of Michigan reported.

    'A burst of optimism among companies after Donald Trump won the U.S. presidential election has faded as business leaders grapple with potentially negative policies of the new White House.

    The reading of a survey of top executives who buy supplies for service-oriented companies slid to a 25-month low of 49.7 in February from 52.8 in January, S&P Global said Friday. Readings below 50 signal contraction.

    The S&P Global services survey had surged in December to a nearly three-year high after Trump’s win on the expectation that he would pursue business-friendly policies.

    Yet the president’s constant threats of tariffs on foreign countries have also unnerved businesses. Higher tariffs could raise their own costs, and if other countries retaliate, that could cut significantly into the sales of American exporters.

    Big cuts in federal spending, meanwhile, could dent revenue and reduce demand for private-sector goods and services. Government outlays have helped to fuel private spending, though at the cost of a soaring U.S. deficit.'

    Ik zie toch steeds meer tekens dat de US-economie in een zware storm terecht komt. Het kan niet anders dat dat effect op de Adyen-cijfers gaat hebben. Alles weer verkocht.
