    Er lijkt zich vandaag een kop en schouderpatroon te gaan vormen. Zou een daling tot in eerste instantie 17,50 kunnen betekenen. Mooi moment om maar weer eens gefaseerd in te gaan slaan. Mochten wij toch weer boven de 19 gaan sluiten is dit geneutraliseerd en is dat ook een reden om (bij) te gaan kopen.

    Overigens verwacht mijn privat banker ook al enige tijd een (tijdelijke) terugslag voor de beurzen in het algemeen.

    EUROBIO SCIENTIFIC RECEIVES A $430,000 MILESTONE PAYMENT FROM ALLERGAN

    Transition to clinical stage of a molecule derived from the former collaboration

    Paris, October 6, 2021 – 8:00 am

    Eurobio Scientific (FR0013240934, ALERS, eligible PEA-PME), a leading French group in the field of specialty in vitro medical diagnostics, announces today that it received from Allergan (now AbbVie) a milestone payment of US $ 430,000 as part of an IND submission to the US FDA for the transition to clinical phase of the AGN-231868 molecule in the treatment of the dry eye syndrome.

    A valuable therapeutic asset

    As part of the former collaboration between both companies, Eurobio Scientific's genomic profiling technology was used to identify potential targets for therapeutic treatments in the field of ophthalmology. On the basis of the positive results obtained, Allergan undertook a medicinal chemistry development which made it possible to identify new molecules, one of which showing promising potential for the treatment of the dry eye syndrome. The main compound resulting from this development demonstrated interesting biological properties in multiple preclinical ocular models, and a sufficient tolerance profile to move to the following stages of development.

    As provided for in the collaboration agreement, a milestone payment of US $ 500,000 less half of patent related fees was made to Eurobio Scientific by Allergan when the IND application was filed with the FDA.

    During the clinical development of AGN-231868, Eurobio Scientific remains eligible to other milestone payments linked to successful transitions to further clinical stages. If the molecule reaches marketing approval, the company will also receive milestone payments and be eligible to royalty payments on future sales.

    Hervé Duchesne de Lamotte, Deputy General Manager of Eurobio Scientific says: “Eurobio Scientific’s therapeutics program lives on, thanks to its longtime partner Allergan. This IND is a good indication of the value of our therapeutic assets which also include molecules under development in oncology by Felicitex, a US biotech company.”

    Vandaag mijn restant verkocht op een zeer acceptabele koers. Heb langdurige kooporders staan op veel lagere koersen in de hoop een keer de mazzel te hebben dat deze nog een keer aangetikt worden. Want dit is zeker geen slecht bedrijf maar zie op deze koersen te weinig upswing.

    gisteren op de radio (Q music) was er nieuws dat er in België een pcr test op de markt is dat nu binnen de 15 minuten uitkomst biedt ,,,zou van een Frans innovatief bedrijf zijn maar vind er nergens info over . Iemand hier meer weet van ?????

    Er vormt zich een klassiek dalend 3 hoekspatroon af in de koers. M.i. zal de markt weldra een richting gaan kiezen. Deze zou wel eens heftig kunnen zijn. Zelf zit ik nu met een gemiddelde inkoop op 16,98 en geef Eurobio voorlopig het voordeel van de twijfel.

    THE FIRST SALIVA SELF-TEST FOR HIV TESTING IN FRANCE

    OraQuick®: first rapid saliva self-test for HIV screening for point-of-care biology, including pharmacies

    Paris, January 11, 2022 – 5:45pm

    Eurobio Scientific (FR0013240934, ALERS, eligible PEA-PME), a leading French group in specialty in vitro medical diagnostics, announces that it entered into an exclusive distribution contract for the commercialization of OraQuick®, a saliva self-test, with Orasure, a US company. This exclusive contract includes the French market and its overseas territories.

    OraQuick® is a CE marked rapid test that can detect the presence of antibodies characteristic of HIV infections in 20 minutes from a saliva sample. Like the COVID serological tests, it includes a small plate with a window to view the result. It does not require a blood sample but a simple saliva sample drawn with a palette also provided for this purpose.

    In France, an estimated 173,000 people are infected with HIV, 24,000 of whom are unaware of their infection. Currently, more than 25% of HIV tests are carried out on late stage infections. The availability of rapid screening tests that are easy to implement is therefore essential to encourage self-screening in all discretion.

    OraQuick® is immediately available in pharmacies and for hospital or non-profit organizations screening centers. With this test, Eurobio Scientific is strengthening its presence in point-of-care biology, particularly in pharmacies, and expanding its range of self-tests, its COVID self-test being already available since June 2021.

    volgende week komen de cijfers uit , gaat de koers hierop anticiperen ???
    Vorig jaar was een uitzonderlijk jaar voor eurobio dat een jaaromzet boekte van 189 miljoen , eerste half jaar zagen we een grote terugval van de covid gerelateerde omzet maar de andere assets deden het uitstekend en de omzet kwam op 96 miljoen . Eurobio vermeldde wel dat dit te maken had met goedkopere prijzen en concurrentie , nu denk ik wel dat deze trend zich doorzette maar dat de omzet door het enorme testen in het 2e kwartaal toch wel wat kan compenseren . Aan omzetten wagen is altijd riskant maar ik ga toch een gokje wagen van 50 miljoen covid omzet en 45 miljoen niet covid omzet wat neerkomt op ongeveer zelfde jaaromzet als 2020 wat toch enorm goed zou zijn .
    Als dit zo is staat eurobio aan 23 euro met een marktwaarde van 250 miljoen enorm laag genoteerd en zijn er mogelijkheden om opgeslorpt te worden door grotere partij
