(the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries"Curetis"), a developer of next-level molecular diagnostic solutions, today reported the results of its ExtraordinaryGeneral Meeting (the "EGM") held in Schipholtoday, March10, 2020.

    The Company’s shareholders adoptedall proposed resolutions and items on the agenda of the EGM.This included the approval of the business combination of OpGen Inc.(“OpGen”) with Curetis (the “Transaction”), theresolution to effect the dissolution of the Company, and the approval of the distribution of the shares of OpGen common stock,received by the Company from OpGen inconsideration ofthe Transaction,to the Company’sshareholders.

    The Transaction is subject toapproval of OpGen’s stockholders.Oncethe Transaction is approved by the stockholdersof OpGen, the execution of the transfer agreement and the closing of the Transaction is expected to take place.

    After the closure of the Transaction, the current managingdirectors oftheCompany, Oliver Schacht, PhD, Johannes Bacher, and Dr. Achim Plum will serve as liquidators of the Companyuntil completion of its dissolution.

    Curetis won op de lokale markt nog eens 220%, na maandag al met 84% te zijn gestegen. Het biotechnologiebedrijf meldde toen toestemming te hebben gekregen de door zijn Chinese partner ontwikkelde coronavirusscanner in Europa te mogen verkopen. Volgens analist Alex Cogut van Kempen is deze test echter aanzienlijk minder goed dan die van concurrenten zoals het Duitse-Nederlandse Qiagen.

    Als het niet bij Pharming is dan nu wel weer bij Curetis die ze naar beneden willen lullen met berichtgeving dat iets minder goed werkt. Duidelijk een bedrijf waarbij het glas altijd meer leeg is dan half vol.
