    Fed likely to expand program to buy state and local debt - report

    WSJ report
    The WSJ is out with a report on the Fed, citing people familiar who say the Fed isn't planning anything big but is likely to buy more state and local debt.

    One of those programs will buy cities' and states' debts of up to two years and is likely to be expanded to include more municipalities, according to people familiar with the matter.

    Kaiser,

    Als je vanmorgen van Duitsland, naar België, naar BBC en Nederland zapt dan merk je gewoon dat de geesten gemasseerd worden om d'r nog maar eens een zware schuld bij te pakken… Kan iedereen weer gerust verder zijn gang gaan, want NIEMAND slaapt vijf minuten minder bij een extra schuld er nog eens bovenop van 2000 maal 1 miljard…

    Zal Wopke uit Nederland zich staande houden, Kaiser? Op Belgische journaal spraken ze al wat kleinerend over die superzuinige Nederlanders. De gevoelens, de stemmingen worden al gemasseerd….

    Ik kan het artikel niet lezen. Geen toestemming. Geeft verder niet, maar ik reageer hier even omdat er vanuit gegaan wordt dat er geen keuzes gemaakt kunnen worden. Naar mijn mening kun je altijd keuzes maken: Pijnlijke, moeilijke, zware keuzes, waarbij je als politicus pijn gaat doen en keuzes zoals eigenlijk nu in heel Europa waarbij hele grote bevolkingsgroepen geen cent last hebben van de pandaemie.

    Dan krijg je absurditeiten zoals NU als gewoon voorbeeld in België: je krijgt een ruimhartige flinke werkloosheidsuitkering.. Ondertussen bij 1 miljoen uitkeringen...kunnen de Bulgaren en Polen niet komen om de asperges, tomaten en aardbeien te plukken. Blijven de boeren met hun teelt zitten. Mogen de uitkeringstrekkers NAAST hun uitkering ook nog het werk van die Polen, Bulgaren etc erbij pakken… Het zijn voor sommige mensen gouden tijden. Dubbel inkomen. Men had OOK kunnen kiezen voor zeer lage uitkering, maar je mag wel de boeren uit hun ellende helpen. Maar dat durven politici niet aan...Deel maar grote werkloosheidsuitkeringen uit en laat ze maar extra bij verdienen. En ondertussen...De staatsschulden nemen met meer dan tien miljard toe....
