Oh kijk nou snap ik het persbericht over winst in 2012. Muller heeft zijn centjes voor de overname nog niet bij elkaar. De goed nieuws show moet ervoor zorgen dat hij nog wat investeerders geld uit de zakken klopt.
Spyker still looking for money to pay for Saab
One third of its 74 million dollar payment to GM is still missing.
Victor Muller, chief executive officer of Dutch sports car maker Spyker, is still looking for investors to finance payment for Sweden-based automaker Saab. One third of its 74 million dollar payment to General Motors is still missing.
The terms call for an installment of 50 million dollars by the expected closing date of February 15 and for 24 million to be paid on July 15. The second installment has not been funded, according to daily Svenska Dagbladet.
"Spyker has been approached by various investors to fund this installment. Spyker intends to finance this amount primarily through senior debt," the company said in a statement.
Victor Muller told the newspaper that the company has "quite a lot of time" to obtain the funding.
"We have many opportunities to see where we will get the money from. We have half a year for that," Victor Muller told Svenska Dagbladet.
Sweden will guarantee a loan of 400 million euros (563 million dollars) from the European Investment Bank to support the transaction.
