    J@pie ik zou het heel erg op prijs stellen als u nu redelijkerwijs aan zou kunnen geven wat u denkt dat er aan de hand is
    er zijn zeer veel mensen die n u bibberen en een gezinnetje moeten verzorgen
    is dit een fake daling om iedereen op verkeerde spoor te zetten of is er echt iets aan de hand
    graag een heleder kort antwoord
    ik heb er zelf 1325 rond de 15 gekocht

    Crucell's vaccine is designed to avoid immune interactions like the one in the trial, said Jaap Goudsmit, the company's chief science officer. Crucell, based in Leiden, the Netherlands, is developing vaccines against tuberculosis and malaria that use other strains of adenovirus. The company's shares have fallen 5.2 percent since the announcement about the cold virus last week.
    Concerns about safety have pushed back a trial of a government-developed vaccine that contains adenovirus.

    Nee hoor ! Maar had iets belangrijks te doen...die 12 zien we niet voorlopig. Ook ik heb ze en zit te koekeloeren hoe ver dit naar beneden gaat. Verkopen heeft geen zin...

    Nee...Je leest het fout. HIV is een heel ander vaccin.Je hebt simpele vaccins en heel moeilijke afhankelijk oa van de aard van et virus.
    Goudsmit zegt, dat ze niet allemaal een pot nat zijn, en niet allemaal op de zelfde manier kunnen worden aangepakt.

    ze hebben hier toch allang een persbericht over gedaan:

    "While the vaccine is produced on Crucell's PER.C6® technology, the discontinuation of the study appears in no way related to the safety or efficacy of the PER.C6® production technology and therefore has no impact on either Crucell's licensing activities or Crucell's partnership with Merck with respect to Crucell's PER.C6® and AdVac® technologies as announced two weeks ago", said Dr. Jaap Goudsmit, Crucell's Chief Scientific Officer. "We empathize with all people at risk of AIDS for whom this result is a set back."

    kortom: ik begrijp hieruit dat het "AD5-probleem" geen uitsluitsel geeft over andere AD-stammen.

    en daarbij heeft Crucell ook nog een alternatief als ik het zo lees:
    But Crucell has another strategy too, it seems. The company recently bought Swiss-based Berna Biotech, where the emphasis of vaccine vector research has been on measles virus. Hussein Naim of Berna showed the AIDS Vaccine ’06 conference that even though measles virus is a common childhood vaccination, a recombinant measles virus serving as vector for a SARS vaccine was able to induce strong cellular immune responses in people with pre-existing immunity to measles virus at the background antibody titre found in the North American population.
