A buyout by MOT makes sense to me. That would checkmate the rest of the OEMs. This still is the one scenario that worries me the most...being bought out and never realizing the amazing stock appreciation we long time shareholders have been expecting. By owning the PicoP Motorola would dominate the cell market. They could either retain exclusivity or sell to the other OEMs. Last winter in Las Vegas at the investor dog and pony show Randy Sprague said he was surprised himself that Microvision had not been bought out. PicoP would give Motorola a real competitor to TIs DLP and an entire new revenue channel. Motorola NEEDS PicoP. Why partner with Microvision only to compete with all the other OEMs that Microvision is going to sell to? Where is my market advantage if I am just one of the many OEMs with PicoP inside? If I were the Motorola CEO I would be looking at this technology very closely with the idea of owning it for myself...and making everyone else come to me. I don't want Nokia, LG, Qualcom, Sony, Ericson etc to all have cell phones on display next to mine at Best Buy with "PicoP Inside"....No, No...Wouldn't be prudent... Unless of course they all had paid a royalty to me for each PicoP. I want to OWN the cell market and "PicoP Inside" (+ROV Inside?) may be my ticket. Let them eat cake. This is not only about money but about POWER.

So the question to the board is this...Where do you think the final MVIS PPS will go if there is a buyout? 10? 20? 30? More? Could there be a bidding war among several companies? When you pencil out the dollars involved in future revenue the numbers are staggering. I say there is a better than even chance that Microvision will be absorbed into a Major Corporation within the next two years. We are living in a dream world if we think that Microvision will survive as a stand-alone company considering the revenue stream they are capable of producing. PicoP technology is exclusive to Microvision and very highly patented. Entry into this market by a competitor for PicoP is going to be costly and time consuming. Why bother? It would cost a competitor more to develop their own pico projector than just buy Microvision (even at a steep premium)...not to mention YEARS to develop.

Just give me $50/shr and let me get on with my life ....2008 is going to be very interesting.
