    From a chartist perspective, MVIS seems to have put in a firm bottom around $4.50 and looks set to test a channel between the mid $4.60s and $4.80. Once MVIS firms near $4.8 and closes above that number with conviction, it would seem a farily quick hurdle over the critical $5 barrier. At that level, many funds and institutions will be permitted to acquire shares and margin rules ease encouraging further investment. We were over $5 before this recent market collapse and with the recently inked deal with MOT, it looks like this little engine is set to jump over $5 soon.

    MVIS Indicates Major News This Week (Not rated) 32 minutes ago We have a very interesting scenario developing on MVIS. There are growing indications of a major development by the end of Summer (as management has stated), and that timeframe is now upon us. Moreover, there has been the pick-up in bashing and the concommittant increase in the posted size of the OFFERS (a common ploy to permit short-covering or to suppress upside in order to give market pros a buying opportunity).

    If you look carefully at this morning's Level II screen, you can nearly see through the games. As of 9:45AM we only have about 6,000 shares printed. Nonetheless, there are relatively large sizes of shares offered between $4.78 and $4.90, which one silly piece of 20,000 shares at $4.90.

    Here's the point for savvy market traders. If the shorts were committed to taking this stock down, then there would be pounding of the Bid going on. There is quite a bit of thinness on the Bid and it would be easy to tank the stock. However, we're not seeing that. What we are seeing is fairly transparent. A number of atypical large OFFERS that no one is hitting but no offsetting selling into the Bids. That is the clearest indication that the shorts and hedgies don't really think MVIS is going down AND, to the contrary, it is a clear indication that hedgies and big boys smell some major, positive news in the offing.

    I'm betting that this week is the week for the much awaited announcement. To back up my belief, I am prepared to stop posting for 30 days on this Board if I'm wrong.
