    ja ik kan ook wat pharming kopen met vbr, maar ik koop geen 10 K bij, bij een stijging van al 40%. En zeker een miljoen binnen een paar uur bij al een stijging van 40% vergeleken bij de normale dag volumes is erg extreem. Maar wie weet zie ik het verkeerd en sta ik morgen alsnog op mijn koersdoel van 3.40 :)

    Van yahoo, natuurlijk geen bewijs maar wel een mogelijke verklaring voor wat er gebeurde gisteren

    For the past few days, Goldman UBS and other large Market Makers were trying to buy stock for institutional clients. After the release, they all switched gears and stopped purchasing through NASDAQ and started buying through ECNs. Buying through ECNs allows buyers to purchase anonymously. They tried very hard to force the stock down to purchase more but the stock's move started to show up on a lot of hedge fund's radar. Big players want this $150M company - for one reason only! It's going much much higher. "

    There is the possibility that RNAI is the next amgen. RNA is the best established company in the nascent field of RNA interference. This is a whole new area of therapeutics and RNAI has patents and >100 applications on some very valuable real estate. The thing to watch for is if big pharma starts lining up for licensing agreements. A good analogy would be CRXL which I happed to purchase at $2.5 several years ago. CRXL has some very unique vaccine technology and is partnered with just about everyone. CRXL is now in the $22 range and has a market cap of $800M. My impression is that RNAI is onto something that has 100x the potential as CRXL. The enclosed clip on Hep B leaves little to the imagination as to how RNAI's approach to this one problem works. I suspect RNAI will have equal success in Parkinsons, Oncology, Alzheimers and many other protein related diseases. In the 1979 timeframe when AMGN, DNA, AAPL and Mci came public I was trading stocks and saw how they acted early in their history. If RNAI is the real deal and I think it is, we should see the volume really take off and maintain high sustained trading volumes in the millions of shares per day range. Today was validation of the theroy that there is more to the RNAI story than many know. Continued movement up on high volume will further validate the hypothesis that this company is on its way to becoming a giant.

    Hoewel ik TA meestal niet zo nuttig vind voor biotech probeer ik soms wel een beetje naar steun/weerstanden te kijken. Alleen wat nu?

    Geen 1 website geeft nog nuttige of enige weerstanden lijkt het. Enige weerstand lijkt de $8 van eind 2003 als ik zo naar de gafriek kijk.

    ludwig, net als dat bericht daarvoor van yahoo, dacht dat dat wel duidelijk was, zal wat beter mijn bronnen erbij zetten voortaan :)

    Dit zijn dus meningen van forummensen op het moment dat een aandeel zo stijgt. Dus in hoeverre je dit heel serieus moet weten laat ik aan een ieder zelf over.
