    Generex Biotechnology Receives Grant of Canadian Patent

    Company Expands Drug Delivery Platform Patent Portfolio

    TORONTO, Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Generex Biotechnology Corporation (Nasdaq: GNBT - News), a leader in the area of buccal drug delivery, today announced that it has been granted a patent by the Canadian Intellectual Property Office titled "Mixed Micellar Delivery System and Method of Preparation." This patent, an extant United States Patent registered by the Company, relates to an improved delivery system for the administration of large-molecule pharmaceuticals, particularly through the oral and nasal membranes.

    The patent covers formulations for the delivery of peptidic drugs, vaccines, and hormones and enhances the Company's existing drug delivery platform patent portfolio.

We are pleased that our patent portfolio has been expanding internationally and the grant of this Canadian patent is of particular importance as it has strengthened the protection of our flagship oral insulin product, Oral-lyn (TM), in the birthplace of insulin," said Rose Perri, the Company's Chief Operating Officer.

    The Company currently holds an aggregate of 70 patents (17 of which are United States patents) and has an aggregate of 60 patent applications pending in various jurisdictions.

    Vanwaar deze daling? Het moet gebeurd zijn in de laatste 2 uur van de handel.
    Om zet was vandaag,tenminste dat vind ik,niet onaardig.

    mogelijk dat traders hun centjes even op droge wilden hebben. zou ik ook doen met zo'n fonds. had ik ook gedaan, gnbt hebben slechte reputatie, maandag zal je zien dat ze nieuwe aandelen hebben uitgegeven en treedt er verwatering op. vertrouw het niet. met andere woorden, ik weet het ook niet.

    Centen op het droge willen hebben ok,ben ik met je eens.Daar in tegen aandelen uitgifte???Dat zou wel het domste zijn wat ze kunnen doen!
    Eerst moet die koers boven een Dollar om delisting te voorkomen.
    Aandelen uitgifte is dan geen optie.
    Ik denk dat de hele bio weleens omhoog kan gaan schieten.
    Reden: De belachelijk dure olie! Dit is een van de weinige sectoren die absoluut niet olie gerelateerd is.
    Mensen hebben toch medicijnen nodig al moeten ze 3 euro afrekenen voor een liter diesel.
    Daarom blijf ik lekker zitten waar ik zit.

    Timing voor uitgifte nieuwe aandelen is inderdaad niet erg handig. Daar heb je gelijk in. Van die olie snap ik niet. Mogelijk bedoel je dat de kostprijs niet door de hoge olie prijs wordt bepaald?

    Ik ga er van uit dat de short-posities glad gestreken zijn. 15 september kunnen we dat zien. Als dat inderdaad het geval is zie ik dat als een heel goed teken. Men verwacht dan namelijk een opwaartse beweging.

    Ja inderdaad het is geen bedrijf dat olie nodig heeft en dus geen hogere kosten heeft.
    Maar de hoge olie prijs heeft direkt invloed op de consumenten uitgave,koopkracht.
    Medicijnen zijn hier niet aan onderhevig.
    Levensmiddelen,autoverkoop en vele anderen wel.
    Daarom denk ik dat er veel beleggers hun heil gaan zoeken in de bio.

    ik was er vrijdag ook uit op 79 en daarna de rest op 78. vertrouw die lui voor geen cent. kan omhoog maar ook plotseling omlaag. stap pas weer in op 55 of bij een rally omhoog met grote volume voor een zeer kort ritje.
