    Wang Yanfeng, GM of Sogou’s Voice Interaction Technology Centre, tells BroadcastPro ME what the AI anchor can do at present and how it can free up time for human anchors.

    What elements of a news anchor’s job can the AI currently do?

    The AI news anchor incorporates the latest advances in speech synthesis, image detection and prediction capabilities, and can simulate natural speech and expressions by integrating various language-centric technologies. The AI anchor can replicate the in-studio news reporting experience.

    What are the advantages of an AI anchor over a human one?

    We believe that human anchors and virtual anchors serve different purposes in a news organisation. We see the AI news anchor as a complement to the work of a human broadcaster. AI anchors won’t replace the human connection that human news reporters have, but the technology will improve the efficiency of standard news broadcasts and free up human anchors to spend more time interviewing guests, reporting on issues outside of the studio and producing better quality content.

    3$ gunstige instapprijs. Ik zit eraan tegen 6$ middelen waar kan. Financieel gezond bedrijf. De meeste Chinese aandelen zitten echter in de downtrend. Waar ze mee bezig zijn is vrij innovatief. A.I. zal op diverse manier worden toegepast, zie bovenstaande posts. Misschien een aandeel om in de gaten te houden.

    Sogou Takes Stake in Online Medical Platform Chunyuyisheng
    (Yicai Global) March 6 -- Chinese search engine operator Sogou has invested in Chunyuyisheng, which claims to be one of China's first internet firms to venture into the internet + medical care sector.

    Beijing-based Sougou has become Chunyuyisheng's seventh-largest shareholder, taking a 6.39 percent stake for an undisclosed sum, according to corporate information platform Tianyancha.

    The online medical treatment platform's operator, Beijing Chunyu Tianxia Software, updated its company registration information today to add a new shareholder, Beijing Sogou Information Service, and a new director, Sogou Chief Executive Wang Xiaochuan, Tianyancha's records show.

    Founded in July 2011, Chunyuyisheng has a registered capital of about CNY27.5 million (USD4 million), and was providing medical care solutions to more than 200 million users as of the end of December, according to its website.
