    Trump houdt een speech bij Health Care for You.

    Trump sluit in deze speech niet uit dat Big Pharma achter de Impeachment Hoax zit.

    Medicijn prijzen zijn duur. De prijzen moet omlaag, aldus Trump.
    De koersen van Pharma aandelen (HC, Health Care) blijven maar stijgen.
    Pharma betaalt veel geld voor lobby activiteiten bij de Senatoren om gunstige wetten er door te krijgen.

    In de 2 jaar en 8 maanden van President Trump, heeft hij helemaal niets gedaan om de prijzen voor medicijnen te verlagen.

    By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, it is hereby ordered as follows:

    Section 1. Purpose. The proposed Medicare for All Act of 2019, as introduced in the Senate (“Medicare for All”) would destroy our current Medicare program, which enables our Nation’s seniors and other vulnerable Americans to receive affordable, high-quality care from providers of their choice. Rather than upend Medicare as we know it, my Administration will protect and improve it.

    (b) The Secretary, in consultation with the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, shall submit to the President, through the Assistants to the President for Domestic and Economic Policy, a report within 180 days from the date of this order that identifies approaches to modify Medicare FFS payments to more closely reflect the prices paid for services in MA and the commercial insurance market, to encourage more robust price competition, and otherwise to inject market pricing into Medicare FFS reimbursement.

    This provision would spike the cost of Medicare. Because premiums are linked to cost, premiums would skyrocket for seniors.

    Kurt Volker was speciaal vertegenwoordiger van de US voor Oekraine. Op 17 september 2019 werd hij ontslagen.
    Mike Pompeo, Minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, had hem afgeraden om naar de hoorzitting te gaan.

    Kurt Volker zou gezegd hebben, op de hoorzitting, dat hij Rudy Giuliani gewaarschuwd had. Hij waarschuwde Giuliani dat de Oekrainse bronnen niet betrouwbaar waren. Deze bronnen vertelden Giuliani dat Joe Biden en zijn zoon onrechtmatig bezig waren.

    Ook zou Volker gezegd hebben, tegen het Committee, dat hij de oekrainse officials gewaarschuwd had, zich niet in te laten met de US politics, omdat zij dan beschuldigd zouden kunnen worden van inmenging in de US verkiezingen.

    Schade strafheffing VS bedraagt voor Nederland €40 mln

    De schade voor de Nederlandse export van nieuwe Amerikaanse importheffingen op Europees voedsel is beperkt. De heffingen die op 18 oktober ingaan, raken €40 mln van de export die in 2018 goed was voor €24 mrd.

    Jobs report:

    A key take-away from today’s Jobs Report is that things have slowed substantially in 2019.
    A reminder of where we are on wages: From late 2017 through late 2018, it looked like wage growth was picking up. THAT ENDED. Wage growth has slipped this year.

    Job growth has slowed this year.

    Note: Given current working-age population growth, the number of jobs we need in order to hold steady (i.e. to keep the unemployment rate from rising) is less than 100,000—so we remain in expansionary territory. But the slowdown is substantial.

    2017 and 2018 looked relatively good for manufacturing job growth but there has been major backsliding this year.

    Tekort Amerikaanse handelsbalans neemt toe
    04-10-2019 14:34 - Handelstekort van 54,9 miljard dollar.

    (ABM FN-Dow Jones) Het tekort op de Amerikaanse handelsbalans is in augustus gestegen. Dit bleek vrijdag uit cijfers van het Amerikaanse ministerie van handel.

    Het tekort steeg van 54,0 miljard dollar in juli naar 54,9 miljard dollar in augustus.

    Er was door economen gerekend op een handelstekort van 54,5 miljard dollar.

    De export steeg in augustus met 0,2 procent tot 207,9 miljard dollar, terwijl de import 0,5 procent steeg tot 262,8 miljard dollar.

    -die een schikking van $ 25 miljoen heeft getroffen met de openbaar aanklager in New York voor corruptie beschuldigingen door zijn studenten van Trump University
    -die een boete heeft gekregen van $ 10 miljoen voor zijn casino Trump Taj-Mahal, wegens witwassen van geld.
