    EXACT Sciences Corporation (NASDAQ:EXAS) announced that it has entered into an agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Rhode Island, one of the state’s leading health plans with more than 500,000 members, to include Cologuard under its Commercial and Medicare Advantage plans. The agreement will go into effect on September 15, 2015.

    Ach als Exact lekker aan het verkopen is, stijgt de waarde van MDX vanzelf.

    Geduld is een schone zaak, een medicijn is immers ook niet in 1 dag ontwikkeld

    (rome is ook niet in 1 dag gebouwd)

    inderdaad alleen licence en milestone inkomen van Colo en de potentie van een blaaskanker test (en de ontwikkeling van een urineen/ofbloed gebaseerde prostaatkanker test bij een waardering van nu 150 Miljoen euro met 40 miljoen euro in cash maakt zelfs geheel los van discussie confirm de company koopwaardig. Hanteer het "wait and see" beleid

    Zal mij niets verbazen als we binnenkort weer een stijging krijgen van een paar dubbeltjes.
    Er worden nu immers weer behoorlijke verkopen uitgelokt, m.a.w. de veer wordt gespannen.
    Je zal ze bijv. twee weken terug maar verkocht hebben voor 3,20 euro. Nu staat het aandeel toch mooi een euro hoger en er kan nog meer bij. Volgende week een presentatie als ik me niet vergis.

    Thanks voor het delen. En hoppa, die koers weer naar beneden. Hopelijk komen de shorters daar steeds schever te zitten, maar ze zullen wel een long-positie opbouwen mag ik voor ze hopen.
    Benieuwd hoe lang de neerwaartse beweging nog aan gaat houden. Emissie is pas geweest, dus ik denk dat we moeten wachten op de Q3-cijfers.

    Canaccord analyst Mark Massaro was out pounding the table on EXACT Sciences Corporation (NASDAQ:EXAS) Thursday, reiterating a Buy rating and price target of $26, which implies an upside of 29% from current levels.

    Massaro wrote, “We reiterate our BUY rating and $26 PT on Exact Sciences, a company we believe can help reduce colon cancer mortality over time given the benefits of Cologuard. We continue to assign an 80% probability of a positive outcome from the USPSTF (A or B rating) as we believe the benefits clearly outweigh the harms and we expect this decision any day (end of September or October).”

    “EXAS recently submitted additional data to the USPSTF, a second prospective study from the Mayo Clinic, which EXAS says shows data very similar to the DeeP-C study. EXAS expects this data will be published in the next 6 months. This data is in addition to the Deep-C study and cost-effectiveness data, the latter of which has been submitted for publication,” the analyst observed.

    According to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts’ and bloggers’ success rate based on how their calls perform, analyst Mark Massaro has a total average return of -7.5% and a 36.2% success rate. Massaro has a -13.5% average return when recommending EXAS, and is ranked #3613 out of 3752 analysts.

    Out of the 11 analysts polled by TipRanks, 7 rate Exact Sciences stock a Buy, 3 rate the stock a Hold and 1 recommends to Sell. With a return potential of 36%, the stock’s consensus target price stands at $27.40.

Een negatieve USPSTF rating zou echt heel slecht nieuws zijn, maar die kans acht ik niet zo groot. De verkopen van ColoGuard rennen echt omhoog, dat is echt niet omdat het product zo slecht werkt.

    Zit er momenteel in voor 4% van m'n portefeuille, dat vind ik meer dan genoeg. Iedere dag neemt dat percentage momenteel af, dat dan weer wel ;)

    EXACT Sciences Corporation (NASDAQ:EXAS) announced that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services(CMS) issued a preliminary determination maintaining the current reimbursement rate for Cologuard, the company’s non-invasive, stool DNA-based colon cancer screening test.

    CMS considered reimbursement for a new CPT billing code for Cologuard (81528), as well as a request for reconsideration of Cologuard’s current reimbursement rate. In its determination, CMS approved a crosswalk of the new CPT code for Cologuard to three existing codes, which yield a current reimbursement rate of $492.72. The new CPT code replaces the G code assigned to Cologuard as part of CMS’ national coverage determination from October, 2014.

    “We are pleased with CMS’ preliminary determination regarding Cologuard’s reimbursement rate and coding,” said Kevin T. Conroy, Exact Sciences’ chairman and chief executive. “Both Medicare and commercial payors are accustomed to using CPT codes and they facilitate the smooth processing of claims. We have worked cooperatively with CMS and appreciate their continued support of Cologuard as a valuable non-invasive screening option for patients and providers.”
