   NEW YORK, Aug. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Omnicom Group Inc. (OMC), together with its wholly owned direct finance subsidiary, Omnicom Capital Inc., today announced the pricing of their public offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of 3.625% Senior Notes due 2022 (the "Notes"). The Notes were priced at 105.287% of face value plus accrued interest from April 23, 2012, resulting in an effective yield of 2.994%. The Notes are an additional issuance of, will be fully fungible with and form a single series with the issuers' $750 million 3.625% Senior Notes due 2022 issued on April 23, 2012, and will have the same CUSIP number. The Notes will mature on May 1, 2022. The transaction is expected to close on August 9, 2012. The issuers intend to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which could include working capital expenditures, fixed asset expenditures, acquisitions, refinancing of other debt, repurchases of common stock or other capital transactions.
   
   The Notes will bear interest at a rate of 3.625% per annum, will be the joint and several unsecured and unsubordinated obligations of Omnicom Group Inc. and Omnicom Capital Inc. and will rank equal in right of payment to all of their respective existing and future unsecured senior indebtedness.
   
   J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.

   Ik weet het niet Hans want we weten ook niet wat er achter de schermen speelt. Dat is de onzekerheid voor beleggers. Duidelijk is wel, dat er geld beschikbaar is

   Een emisssie ter waarde van $ 500 miljoen, die op 9 augustus a.s. sluit en waarvan men het geld kan gebruiken voor o.a. overnames.
   Met andere woorden het zou zomaar kunnen dat ze het geld dit weekend gebruiken voor de overname van LBI.

   wat ik begrijp dan heb omnicom 750 miljoen dollar totaal beschikbaar voor een overname ik denk toch binnenkort dat we bricht horen maar ik snap nog steeds niet wie elke keer voor sluiting de koers omlaag zet je bent toch gestoord als je nu verkoopt met overname gerucht ik denk toch dat we in het weekend wat horen over overname ik blijf lekker zitten dat wordt zeker beloond met of zonder overname

   wat dacht je van een bank/partij in opdracht van Omnicom? Je betaald fors om die koers lager te krijgen maar dat is het zeker waard als je daardoor veel minder overname premie hoeft te betalen.. stel overname prijs is 3,50 p.a. bij een huidige koers van 3 a 3.10 gaat niemand akoord, maar de premie op een koers van 2.7 is toch een stuk aantrekkelijker.. Je ziet dit wel vaker
