One thing I would love to know, and perhaps you can find out, is the distribution model for the scanner. This is supposed to be market ready but I have no idea how it is to be sold and as this could ramp up profits and show cash flow which could be an important element to valuation and pps.

    Wie kan het wel?

but first things first ... we just need MVIS to show everybody
there actually is a product at the end of this rainbow, and not just
daydreams and lolipops. And we'll know allot more in 4-5 weeks. ;)

I think people have sort of become depressed, that because there has been little news and a floundering stock price things maybe arent going that well or are going slower than hoped for...

I think this is entirely wrong. That they are making swift and great progress, and we will absolutley, POSITIVELY see a MOT PICO PHONE at CES In JANUARY 2008.

    Count on it!

ik heb de kleinste bezine motor op de wereld gezien. Zo groot als de top van je duim...niet te geloven. Wordt zeer revolutionair de komende tijd op dit gebied.

I HOPE that MOT has a MVIS embedded prototype at CES. I'm not
counting on it though. I think the design achievement of being able
to successfully integrate a MVIS PicoP into a MOT phone is
significantly higher than building a standalone. And 6 months, in
my mind isn't long enough. But maybe that's just the Engineer in me
knowing that usually it always takes more time to design something
than you think it will, and always wanting more time to hash out a
design than they usually give me. lol. I don't know.

But if MOT has an actual, working, embedded prototype at CES ...
after CES someone not only won't be able to buy MVIS under $4 any
more ... but they won't be able to be buy MVIS under its 52week high
    anymore.

Actually, you are correct. I had made similar connections back when
MOT was first announced. It seems obvious that MOT and MVIS had
been working together for sometime before the official
announcement. And that is why Alex was so confident that they would
be announcing it before the end of summer b/c it wasn't a question
of IF MOT was going to sign a deal with MVIS, it was just an issue
    of hashing out the details.

But on the other-hand, don't underestimate how much MOT limited
their design predicating on MVIS technology before the deal became
completely official. But yes, I do think MOT had already been
working on the solution before, and MVIS is just the optical
component, and we'll see that the electronics and everything are
going to be built into the MOT circuitry, and MVIS will be the
    projector output component only.

I don't agree however that MOT bought Symbol for their cell phone
projector technology. Symbol was already a large company, with many
products, and the cell phone application for MOT was kind of an
auxiliary benifit to the Symbol acq. But it doesn't really matter
b/c it still has MOT working already to embedded a projector into
their phone before working with MVIS and lending that head start to
    get to a working design.

And maybe they will indeed have a prototype by CES. At the last CC,
Alex seemed to try to imply we'd be blown away by CES. And a MOT
    prototype would surely do that.

But the Engineer in me just can't get over the complications to
truly make this into a embedded device. That I just think it takes
more time. But it also depends on how "ready for prime-time" MOT
wants their prototypes to be when they display them. B/c I have no
doubt that if MOT wanted to they should at this point and time be
able to have a prototype for CES. But I don't know what stage
    prototype will it be.

B/c this is such a game changing thing, it really needs to wow
everyone. Since displaying a prototype would show the other cell
phone companies exactly where MOT is at. And you might not want to
do that with a not quite ready for primetime prototype. Imagine if
Apple would of introduced the upcoming iPhone at a tradeshow before
it was totally done and it wasn't quite as impressive. Then when
the iphone actually came out the buzz wouldn't be the same and
people wouldn't be as impressed with the final product.

So ... who knows. A lot of factors in play. I guess we'll see soon
    enough. ;)

Microvision Signs Contract with Leading European Automotive Tier 1
    Integrator
Tuesday December 11, 6:00 am ET

    REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Microvision (NASDAQ:MVIS - News), a
leader in light scanning technologies for display and imaging
products, announced that it has signed a development agreement with a
leading European supplier of automotive and industrial technologies.
Under the agreement, Microvision will deliver prototype samples for
the automotive Tier 1 partner to evaluate Microvision's PicoP™
technology for a variety of automotive display applications,
    including Head Up Displays (HUD).

Microvision has pioneered the development of an ultra-miniature laser
projection technology called PicoP. The PicoP display is based on
Microvision's proprietary MEMS scanning micro mirror technology that
offers important mobile application advantages over existing flat
panel technologies: exceptional resolution, contrast and color,
smaller packaging, and less power consumption.

"We are now in development with leading Tier 1 integrators in all
three major automotive economies: North America, Europe and Asia,"
said Alexander Tokman, President and CEO of Microvision. "We believe
this further affirms our PicoP automotive strategy and allows us to
    broaden opportunities with leading automakers."

The name of the automotive tier 1 supplier was withheld at its
    request for confidentiality reasons.
