    EXACT Sciences Corp. (NASDAQ:EXAS) saw unusually large options trading activity on Monday. Investors bought 17,290 call options on the stock, ARN reports. This is an increase of 963% compared to the average volume of 1,627 call options.

    Wordt hier misschien goedkeuring verwacht voor de test waar MDX een licentie voor heeft verstrekt ? Riekt naar voorkennis / stijging call opties met 963%

    Dit koersverloop is natuurlijk ergens op gebaseerd. En het zal ongetwijfeld om voorkennis gaan anders is deze stijging niet te verklaren. Het wordt met de dag spannender. Verder laat ik me graag voorlichten door jou. Jou kennis in deze overstijgt de mijne.

    idd DPA hoort op 2+ testaan na alle overnamens die ze in 2013 hebben gedaan en vergeleken bij de andere uitzenders nog niet in beeld geweest:-) :-) :-)
    Sorry laatste melding betreft DPA hier:-)

    Mdx gaat ook lekker vanaf de 2,90:-)

    Had er niet meer opgerekend dat we nog onder de 4 zouden belanden, toch raar 30000 in de laat en in een keer zijn ze weg veel fake wat daar de reden (bedoeling) van is kan ik nooit helemaal begrijpen

    MGMT test predicts survival for brain tumor patients
    March 6, 2014—The publication in The New England Journal of Medicine of a phase III randomized trial of bevacizumab (Avastin) for newly diagnosed glioblastoma patients confirms the clinical utility of an MDxHealth test, the company said in a statement.
    The randomized controlled trial found that first-line use of bevacizumab did not improve overall survival for patients with this type of brain cancer (Gilbert MR, et al. N Engl J Med. 2014 Feb. 20;370(8):699–708). The drug did improve progression-free survival, but not as much as researchers had hoped.
    The randomization in the trial was based MDxHealth’s test, PredictMDx for Glioblastoma. The test assesses the methylation status of the MGMT gene, which is a key DNA repair component. If the MGMT gene is methylated, cancer patients have shown improved response to alkylating drug therapy, which is the most commonly used class of brain-cancer drugs.
    In the recently published study, MGMT methylation status was shown to be prognostic for progression-free survival and overall survival, regardless of the therapies investigated. The median progression-free survival for patients with unmethylated tumors was 8.2 months, compared with 14.1 months in the patients with MGMT methylated tumors. The median overall survival for patients with MGMT unmethylated tumors was 14.3 months, compared with 23.2 months in patients with MGMT methylated tumors.
    “These results again confirm the prognostic value of our PredictMDx test in glioblastoma. These results demonstrate the clinical importance of using molecular biomarkers, like MGMT, to improve patient stratification and the current standard of care,” Dr. Wim van Criekinge, MDxHealth’s chief scientific officer, said in the statement.
