    Based on its recent impact analysis of MEMS-based sensors andactuators on industrial automation, Frost & Sullivan has presentedMicrovision, Inc. (NASDAQ: MVIS) with the 2007 North American Frost &Sullivan Award for Technology Innovation. The award recognizesMicrovision for its business advancements and design of abi-directional MEMS scanning mirror to be integrated in its PicoP(TM)display engine.

    PicoP is an ultra-miniature projector that can display large,high-contrast, color-rich, high-resolution images, but is small andlow-power enough to be embedded directly into mobile devices, such ascellular phones. PicoP is being developed to address a large marketopportunity that derives from consumers' desire for a better viewingexperience than currently is available from traditional small displayson mobile devices. Other potential display applications enabled byPicoP include tiny projectors embedded into or used as accessorydisplays for mobile devices such as personal media players, gamingdevices, laptops, DVD players and digital cameras. Microvision is alsoseeking to integrate the PicoP into vehicle displays, includingautomotive and aerospace head-up displays, as well as wearablefull-color displays designed as fashionable eyewear.

    Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst S. Menaka, stated, "Byincorporating MEMS-based scanning technology as the foundation for itsPicoP display engine, we believe Microvision is capable of meeting thedemanding performance, size, cost and volume requirements of itscustomers for high-volume, diverse market applications and products.
