I used to work there.
They train you up, pay is OK, sometimes long sometimes short hitches on a ship stuck with dudes, work scheduling (which is actually a lack of schedule) sucks.
The work is easy, you basically start out changing beacons on ROVs, eventually you move up to other things like setting up Low-Baseline beacons for higher precision tracking, then to multibeam and etc. A whole lot of downtime while watching movies and reading books
It's cool work but isnt easy if you want a social life. Wouldnt suggest it unless you actually see yourself doing this long term or got debts to pay. Otherwise if you want a shit load of money from field work with more opportunity to move up, look for a land survey company that does pipeline or whatever.
