    Alpha Pro Tech, Ltd. Announces Increased Availability of N-95 Respirator Masks To Address Swine Flu Outbreak
    Company Prepared to Expand Production to Meet Increased Demand as Consumers and Healthcare Professionals Focus on Safety Amidst Crisis

    SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alpha Pro Tech (NYSE AMEX: APT) a leading manufacturer of products designed to protect people, products and environments, including disposable protective apparel and building products, today announced that as one of the leading manufacturers of N-95 respirator masks, the Company currently has a supply of N-95 respiratory masks and is capable of accelerating production to meet the increased demand amidst concerns regarding the Swine influenza outbreak.

    To date, the World Health Organization has confirmed 40 cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) virus infection in the U.S. Human cases have been confirmed in residents of California, Kansas, New York, Ohio, and Texas, as well as Canada and Mexico. Approximately 103 fatalities, all in Mexico, have been reported. This virus is resistant to certain antiviral medications. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that:

    Personnel engaged in aerosol generating activities (e.g., collection of clinical specimens, endotracheal intubation, nebulizer treatment, bronchoscopy, and resuscitation involving emergency intubation or cardiac pulmonary resuscitation) for suspected or confirmed swine influenza A (H1N1) cases should wear a fit-tested disposable N95 respirator.
    Pending clarification of transmission patterns for this virus, personnel providing direct patient care for suspected or confirmed swine influenza A (H1N1) cases should wear a fit-tested disposable N95 respirator when entering the patient room.
    Any person potentially infected with Swine Influenza should wear a surgical mask when outside of the patient room, and should be encouraged to wash hands frequently and follow respiratory hygiene practices.

    Dit bedrijf maakt een soort maskers voor de preventie van het varkensgriepvirus. Klinkt idioot, maar ze doen nu toch mooie zaken. Heb gisteren op 1,75 een aantal gekocht. AH staat ie 1,90 ondertussen.

    ik ben in gnbt gegaan op 0.48
    ging ook pas laatste uur omhoog haha.
    had gehoopt ze er nog uit te kunnen doen boven 0.60
    misschien morgen start beurs?

    fijn dat u in ieder geval in de plus staat
    waarom niet boven 2.00 uit gedaan?
    of bent u net als mij, te lang wachten ;-)

    ik ben in gnbt gegaan op 0.48
    ging ook pas laatste uur omhoog haha.

    Ik had een verkooporder voorbeurs staan van 2,20, maar raakte dus niet. Nu heb ik er weer zo één staan nabeurs. Maar ik geloof nooit dat ie dat nabeurs zal raken. Vermoedelijk dat ik morgen voorbeurs ze aan 2 ga proberen slijten.

    Nu overigens 1,74 (ik sta dus nog 1 dollarcent in de min:-P). Maar er is een enorme gap tussen bid en ask, een ask die op 1,84 staat (vandaar die sprong naar 1,87). Goed, we zien wel.

    GNBT goed gedaan, das alweer een dikke 10% up!

    Net sales for the third quarter of 2021 were $14.5 million, a decrease of 51.8%, compared to $30.0 million for the third quarter of 2020.

    Building Supply segment sales increased by $2.4 million, or 31.4%, to a record $10.1 million, compared to $7.7 million for the three months ended September 30, 2020

    Disposable Protective Apparel segment sales decreased by 80.3%, to $4.4 million, compared to $22.4 million for the same period of 2020

    Net income for the third quarter of 2021 was $766,000, or $0.06 per diluted share, compared to $8.1 million, or $0.58 per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2020

    Cash of $17.6 million and working capital of $49.7 million with no debt as of September 30, 2021

    Het is een mooi bedrijf, denk dat we grootste dalen wel achter de rug hebben, ik zit er natuurlijk weer veel te duur in.
    Voor beleggers die long gaan, zou nu wel een mooi in stap moment kunnen zijn.
    In de bijlage zie je dat ze ook nog een eigen inkoop programa hebben.
